Communication interfaces

PClog provides up to 4 serial ports, 2 Ethernet ports and 4 USB ports that can be used to communicate with all external devices via serial protocols or standard TCP/IP interface provided by the software package.
RS232 and USB ports can be converted in RS422/RS485 standard using simple serial converters.
In case of protocols that require a special field-bus interface, it is possible to ask for a special version of PClog that is equipped with an additional field-bus communication board on PCI slot.

PClog-MPI
The package provides a complete HMI solution for communication with Siemens S7 SIMATIC PLC family using Profibus MPI protocol; the package includes:

  • PClog
  • external PC adaptor RS232/MPI
  • communication software

PClog-S7
The package provides a complete HMI solution for communication with Siemens S7 SIMATIC PLC family using Profibus MPI or S7 protocol; the package includes:
